Amy Hippard D.C.
Dr. Amy was first inspired to become a chiropractor at age 9. She started taking gymnastic lessons at the age of 2 and was competing at a high level 5 years later. Everything was going well until she started having knee pain, heel pain, wrist pain, and low back pain, which is when her mother took her to a chiropractor.
While under care, she was intrigued at how amazing the body was and how chiropractic had saved her gymnastics career. She wanted to help individuals be able to reach their potential and dreams, just like her chiropractor helped her.
Dr. Amy is originally from Traverse City, MI (where all her family still lives). She completed her undergraduate at Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and pursued her dream, completing chiropractic school at Life University in 2013. She then moved and lived all over; Santa Monica, CA, Marietta, GA, Minneapolis, MN, and practiced for 7 years in Belvidere IL (1.5 hours northwest of Chicago) before moving to Knoxville.
Dr. Amy and her husband have been married since 2014. and welcomed the love of their life almost 2 years ago; their black English Labrador, Eugene. When Dr. Amy isn't in the office; you can find her outdoors with her husband and Eugene hiking and exploring.
