Chiropractor Knoxville TN Ryan and Kristin Dolan

Kristin & Ryan Dolan, D.C.

Dr. Ryan grew up in Toms River, NJ with his older brother Matthew playing baseball and football throughout high school and in college. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Rowan University. He decided to get his doctorate in chiropractic after realizing his passion for helping people and how much chiropractic had impacted him and his family's lives.

Dr. Ryan decided to enroll at the largest chiropractic school in the world, Life University in Marietta, GA where he and Dr. Kristin met.

Dr. Kristin grew up in Southeast, PA with her two brothers playing soccer and swimming. She received her bachelor's degree in genetics from Michigan State University. Originally planning on pursuing a medical degree, she decided on becoming a chiropractor after watching her mother experience a "medical miracle" with chiropractic care.

While in Georgia, Dr. Ryan and Dr. Kristin helped to grow the largest chiropractic office in Georgia while receiving additional training to care for pregnant women, infants, and children.

Chiropractic Knoxville TN Dr Amy

Amy, D.C.

Dr. Amy was first inspired to become a chiropractor at age 9. She started taking gymnastic lessons at the age of 2 and was competing at a high level 5 years later. Everything was going well until she started having knee pain, heel pain, wrist pain, and low back pain, which is when her mother took her to a chiropractor. While under care, she was intrigued at how amazing the body was and how chiropractic had saved her gymnastics career. She wanted to help individuals be able to reach their potential and dreams, just like her chiropractor helped her.

Dr. Amy is originally from Traverse City, MI (where all her family still lives). She completed her undergrad at Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and pursued her dream, completing chiropractic school at Life University. She then moved and lived all over; Santa Monica, CA, Marietta, GA, Minneapolis, MN, and currently lives in Belvidere IL (1.5 hours northwest of Chicago).

Dr. Amy and her husband have been married for 6 years and welcomed the love of their life almost 2 years ago; their black English Labrador, Eugene. He goes everywhere with them and they are so excited to explore and call Knoxville their new home. Dr. Amy has been practicing for 7 years and sees all ages from pregnant mamas to infants to grandmas and grandpas. It has truly been a blessing to be able to see so many people have their lives changed through chiropractic!

Chiropractic Knoxville TN Jen

Jennifer grew up in Orlando, FL with her little sister where she played volleyball, basketball, & softball in high school. She played volleyball on scholarship at Carson-Newman University while getting her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. She went on to do personal training and managing various fitness facilities in Knoxville. She met Dr. Ryan & Dr. Kristin in a networking meeting & decided to start chiropractic care herself. She saw such an improvement in her health & knew chiropractic care was always going to be a part of her life.

Soon after starting care, her husband was diagnosed with Stage 3b Testicular Cancer & began treatments in 2017. She then had her husband and 2 kids start care at Thrive in order to keep the family’s immune system up while her husband was undergoing chemotherapy.  Chiropractic care was the best decision she made for her family and they have all stayed well and healthy since. She was then offered a chiropractic assistant position with Thrive and she has now been working here for almost 3 years.

Chiropractic Knoxville TN Liza

Liza grew up in Knoxville, spending most of her time playing softball, basketball, and running track. While in high school at Hardin Valley Academy she won the state championship for shot put, which earned her a place on the University of Tennessee Women’s Track Team. While at UT she acquired her degree in Kinesiology and her Personal Training Certification. While at UT she met her husband and they got married in December of 2018.

She and her husband spend much of their time volunteering with a local youth group and working with them. Otherwise, they spend most of their time hiking, camping, playing sports or watching sports. Having earned her CPT and her kinesiology degree, she has always been driven by the preventative side of health care rather than the reactive side of health care. As a chiropractic assistant, she feels like she not only gets to help people live longer but help people enjoy their life more while they are living!
